Destinus, a Swiss aviation and aerospace firm, aims to revive commercial hypersonic travel using a hydrogen-powered prototype, cutting flight times by 75%.

Two previous prototypes by Destinus have already achieved successful test flights. The upcoming third version, set for later this year, will focus on testing the fuel systems, with sustainable hydrogen being the only viable choice. Destinus is actively pursuing the development of a smaller-scale version for commercial flight in the 2030s.
